Herbal Alternative Remedies & Treatments for Baldness, Thin Hair
|
ReGrow Plus:
ReGrow Plus is a blend of carefully chosen herbal ingredients known for their
beneficial effect on circulation, hormonal and thyroid functioning, thereby
promoting hair and nail growth.
ReGrow Massage Oil:
To promote healthy hair growth after illness and stress;
To protect against age-related hair loss;
To stimulate and nourish weak hair follicles;
To promote hair growth after chemotherapy
Advecia:
Advecia has been formulated to restore the appearance of existing hair, while
decreasing the psychosocial impact of hair loss.
Although hair loss is a mainstream condition, most people fail to realize that permanent hair loss is a disease. Hair loss affects nearly 40% of all men and women in their respective lifetimes. The view of hair loss and its social impact varies between the two sexes. Men often view hair loss as a fact of life, while women view it as a cosmetic tragedy. Regardless of individual opinion, it is important to understand why this condition occurs and the treatment options (both medicinal and natural) that currently exist.
Hair loss can range from mild thinning to complete baldness. When the loss of hair is constant, it can negate personal coping strategies for self-acceptance. Despite what many experts say, in our appearance-laden culture, your personal value or self-worth is (sadly) often defined by your outer appearance. In fact, its been reported that:
93% of men and women think about hair loss
88% of these persons feel frustrated and helpless about their condition
However, this does not mean that individuals should let intimidation and helplessness keep them from taking steps to prevent future hair loss. Instead, hair loss sufferers should address the cause through the approaches of modern medicine and nutritional supplementation. Concerning those with hair loss issues: individuals who take the initiative to understand and manage their condition are often the ones that feel best about themselves.
Minimize your hair loss and maximize its re-growth with the unique combination of herbs, vitamins, and amino acids, found in Progressive Health's popular hair loss formula, Advecia.
By inhibiting the damaging effects of 5-alpha-reductase, Advecia can help slow or even possibly stop the damaging effects of hair loss.

Are you Experiencing These
Symptoms:
- Hair Loss
- Lack of Confidence
- Side Effects from Propecia or Rogaine
- Feelings of Embarrassment
Then Read This:
New studies show that providing essential nutrients to your
hair follicles can have an effect on hair loss. Advecia may
help NDF (nutrient deficient follicles) by replenishing
theses nutrient-deficiencies.
The mystery of hair loss has already been solved.
Androgenetic Alopecia is an extremely common disorder
affecting both men and women. 95% of all hair loss is a
result of Androgenetic alopecia or commonly referred to as
Male or Female Pattern Baldness.
95% of all people who suffer from hair loss have a genetic
form of Androgenetic Alopecia. People with Androgenetic
Alopecia have elevated levels of hormones - which have
proven to be a primary factor in destroying hair follicles.
Since we already know what causes hair loss, we can begin to
find helpful solutions.
The most common cause of hair loss usually relates to your
genetic predisposition. In other words, your genetic makeup
will determine if you are more likely to get Alopecia. Here
are a few options that may be helpful:
top
Topical Solutions:
There are a variety of topical solutions for hair loss. The
most popular being Minoxidil. Many people have reported that
this product will irritate and dry out their scalp. Also,
applying the product twice a day could become very time
consuming.
Prescription Drugs:
Drugs such as Propecia are formulated to inhibit DHT. They
claim to prevent hair loss and provide some re-growth after
years of use. Some men experience sexual side effects, which
is the downside to using these products.
Herbal Supplements:
Advecia is a new all-natural herbal supplement that has
ingredients which have been proven to provide hair follicles
with essential nutrients that they need to become
healthier.
Advecia can help slow down hair loss and possibly revive
once dormant follicles. It contains natural supplements that
do not cause any side effects. Using RNA (ribonucleic acid)
Advecia works with your natural DNA processes to deliver
vital nutrients to the scalp - simply take two (2) capsules
per day - that's it!!
This is how it works...
1. Provides Essential Nutrients to Scalp- Advecia first
works to reverse the effects of the hormones that caused the
initial hair loss. By using RNA (ribonucleic acid) nutrients
are delivered to the hair follicle, slowly making it
stronger and thicker.
2. Revive Hair Follicles- Advecia eliminates clogged hair
follicles by dissolving dead skin cells, scalp oil (sebum),
and residue from shampooing and may reverse the damage
caused by DHT. Then, RNA works with your natural DNA
processes to deliver vital nutrients to the follicle.
3. Nourishes and Stimulates Hair Follicles- Our 100% natural
formula provides hair follicles with capsicum, amino acids,
and essential minerals to avoid NDF (Nutrient Deficient
Follicles). With proper nutrition and increased blood flow
to the scalp, dormant follicles can begin producing healthy
hair once again.

- What
causes Alopecia or Hair Loss?
Hair loss can be a traumatic experience for many people. A
healthy head of hair is often an important factor in how
you feel about yourself and in feeling good about your
appearance. When hair begins to fall out, appears thin and
lifeless or comes out in patches, this can cause a great
deal of distress and insecurity.
The health of your hair is a good indicator of the health
of your body. When hair loss becomes excessive, it is
important to find out what is causing it so that you can
also treat the underlying problem.
There are many
causes of hair loss, including:
- Aging (e.g. male pattern baldness)
- Harsh chemicals (e.g. hair coloring, incorrect
brushing and tight hair bands or rollers)
- Smoking
- Stress
- Hormonal changes
- Thyroid problems
- After effects of pregnancy
- Dietary deficiencies
- Fungal infections of the scalp
- Side Effects of medication (e.g. anticoagulants, gout
medication, antidepressives, contraceptives and excess
Vitamin A)
- Reaction to illness or major surgery (hair may fall
out up to three months afterwards)
- Reaction to chemotherapy
- Rarely, hair loss may be an early symptom of disease
like diabetes or lupus.
What should I do
if I notice excessive hair
loss?
It is important to pay attention to undue hair loss, even
if this is just to reassure yourself that all is well. The
first step would be to visit your doctor, homeopath or
health care professional who will usually ask a series of
questions and even do some tests to find out what is
causing your hair loss.
If it is found that you have a medical condition which is
responsible for the hair loss (e.g. thyroid problems) then
treating the condition will often reverse the hair loss.
Each case is different and the underlying causes should
always determine how your particular problem is handled
medically. Once the cause has been found, there may be a
number of different ways of treating it, ranging from a
change in medication, treating an underlying medical
condition and using products to promote hair growth.
What about male
pattern baldness?
Male pattern baldness is one of the most common causes of
hair loss in men and early balding often runs in families.
Male pattern baldness is hormonal in origin. Young men
have relatively high amounts of a hormone called
testosterone in their bodies. As they grow older, the
testosterone levels fall due to the presence of an enzyme
called 5-alpha reductase, which converts testosterone to
dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT effects the hair follicles
and slows down hair production, producing weak, shorter
hair and even stops the hair follicle from producing hair
at all. Over time, this causes balding.
While this is perfectly normal and many men come to accept
that a balding or bald head does not affect their
attractiveness, others have difficulty in accepting the
change and seek treatment. This can range from using
prescription drugs like finasteride (which inhibits
5-alpha reductase) or Minoxidil to expensive hair
implants.
How can natural
remedies help?
Hair is mostly made from a fibrous protein called keratin,
which is also found in fingernails and toenails. The
supply of nutrient-rich blood to the scalp and hair
follicles is essential in promoting healthy hair growth
and preventing hair loss.
Natural remedies can help hair grow stronger and more
plentifully by nourishing it at the roots, stimulating
blood flow and the supply of nutrients to the hair
follicles and thereby promoting healthy hair growth and
slowing down excessive hair loss.
